 Jack & Susannah Dabney, RETIRED
RCA-After 23 years of praying for Albania and several short-term trips there, Jack and Susannah Dabney ministered in Albania for 10 years. Jack  provided pastoral leadership to an English-speaking congregation. Susannah ministered to prisoners and Gypsy Roma children.  They returned  in 2010 to the United States.

Austin & Beverly are focusing primarily on training national pastors and church leaders through teaching and mentoring.  In addition Austin is Director of The Albanian Encouragement Project, an umbrella organization representing 75 mission agencies to the government.  He also is a founder of Albanians for Integrity which works with national leaders.  Beverly is on the board of Eagles Wings transition home for teenage Albanian girls.

Gretchen KaupMission to Unreached Peoples
A member of OLCC since her days in youth group, Gretchen went to
Albania in the fall of 2002 to work at GDQ School in Tirana, Albania, which is a school for missionary children.  The hope is Albanian students will be able to enroll in the high school in the near future.  She also spends time volunteering with the youth in an Albanian church.

Von & Sue GolderFrontiers - Von and Sue Golder are Frontiers missionaries serving in Albania. They work as church planters and are committed to seeing a church planted in every village and city in Albania. Von pastors the Disciples of Jesus church in the capital city, Tirana, and oversees other church planting efforts in Albania and one in Kosova. He also hopes to begin church planter training schools once a Worship and Ministry Center is built.

Rev. Barry & Terryl Bruce—The Way Out Ministries
The Bruces founded The Way Out Ministries in 1984 in the troubled L.A. County city of Hawaiian Gardens, California. It is an affiliate of the Reformed Church in America, dedicated to reaching out and serving the needs of children, youth and adults in a city known for its crime. The ministry provides for the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of the community. The Way Out Ministries began its own mission school in 1997 and began its own church, The Gathering, on December 14, 2003. In addition to these ministries, The Way Out offers weekly youth clubs, adult Bible study, community outreach programs and networks with other agencies to provide drug rehabilitation, tattoo removal, counseling, job placement, and a host of other services. In 2010 pastor Barry was elected to sit on the Hawaiian Gardens’ City Council where he now also works to bring positive change and growth to the people they serve.

David Ford – Wycliffe Bible Translators, SIL International
The son of RCA and OLCC missionaries Peter and Patty Ford, David spent seven years of his life in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. During the course of his undergraduate studies, David completed two summer internships in linguistics with SIL Ethiopia and graduated from the Institute of Applied Linguistics in Dallas, Texas; in June 2009. Africa is one of the three areas of greatest need with regard to Bible translation. David will work as a linguistic analyst with SIL International in the Ethiopia branch, a pioneer in the development of mother-tongue translation projects.

IMF’s Medical Center in Haiti provides medical help for the surrounding population of 40,000 people in the rugged mountain area. Whiz Kids
The Whiz Kids program pairs inner city, at risk kids with caring adults who tutor and mentor them in the spirit of Christ. Whiz Kids coordinates one-on-one tutoring sessions for volunteers and students at host sites where they meet for 2 hours a week for tutoring, activities, and club time. Our Lord’s participates in this program through partnership with Holy Temple Baptist Church and Martin Luther King Elementary School.

TANZANIA

Ellen McCaskill – Wycliffe Bible Translators, SIL International
Having completed her degree at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics, Ellen now has a Masters in Language Development with a specialization in Literacy. Ellen is working in the Wycliffe Translators Uganda-Tanzania Branch with the Mara Cluster Project in Musoma (Northwest Tanzania). This Project is working toward a New Testament translation in nine related languages. Ellen is developing literacy materials, training teachers, holding writers workshops, and providing program management—all toward the goal of adult literacy in the nine languages of the area, so that by the time New Testaments are published, the populace is able to read it.

Max & Karen Hatfield—Friendship International
Max and Karen Hatfield work extensively throughout Turkey and the Northern Caucasus, which is home to more than 40 different ethnic groups. They are making disciples among the Kurdish, Adyghe and Turkish people. This includes the planting of self- multiplying, self-supporting, indigenous, New Testament style house churches.
