At Our Lord's we believe the best way to cultivate a culture of men who are "Devoted to Christ, being and making disciples of Jesus" is to do two things:
1) D Groups
In our D Groups guys are meeting with 2-6 other guys on a consistent basis to "internalize" the values of Jesus. In these meetings, we are (typically) doing three things:
a) UP - reading a chapter from the Journey and asking "What is God saying TO YOU through this?"
b) IN - talking about our relationships with wives, children, co-workers, friends, etc. and encouraging one another to "love well."
c) OUT - discussing "our worlds" and who God is calling us to reach with His love and power.

2) HAZAK Men's Retreat May 4-6th 2012
Jesus said to His disciples, "Come away by yourselves to a lonely place for a while ...." It seems that Jesus might have known how important it is for men to get away from the daily grind. Our annual retreat is the way our men do just that.
We leave our calendars and watches behind, go away to a secluded place, and we gather together to listen to God. We ask Him to speak to us about our own hearts, our wives and children, and the world He has called us to reach. We worship and play together, we pray over one another, and God changes our hearts.
What we’re hoping to see is a group of men turning to the Father and allowing Him to change us and move us toward a freedom that offers life even in the middle of our chaos and uncertainty.
You may know all the right words, all the right verses. That’s a wonderful thing. What we long to see is LIFE and men offering that LIFE to our wives, our children, and those in our world.
If you long for the same thing, join us.
If you want to know the Father’s heart, join us.
If you desire to live a life that impacts others, join us.
