Community Groups

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, and to sharing in meals and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe ...They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." -Acts 2:42-47

What they saw then, we want to see now...
Passion for Jesus. Love for each other. Lives forever changed.

And they did it together.
They had to. They had no other choice.
If we want to follow Jesus and see what they saw, we must also choose to do it together.

Community Groups ("C Groups") are our extended families of 6-15 people who meet together all over the city. They are the way we live out the mission to be devoted to Christ - being and making disciples.

What are they like?

Authentic Relationship
They are the people you feel comfortable enough around to open up their refrigerator without asking for permission...
They are the people who know you don't have it all together...

Care
They are the people you help to move or who bring meals over when you've had a baby...

Discipleship
They are the people who nudge, point and sometimes pull you to Jesus just when you need it...
They are the people who are in your D-Groups, following Jesus in Scripture and in prayer.

Spirit-ministry
They are the people who stop to ask God to speak, to heal, to bring change.
They are the people you gather with to remind you that Jesus, His gospel and His kingdom are real, and more powerful than you ever imagined.

This is the extended family the Bible describes as "the church."

And it is beautiful.
