The Mission of Rebuilding Together is simple:  “Bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of homeowners in need.”

OLCC has partnered with Rebuilding Together for several years to support their vision of providing a safe and healthy home for every person.  This year was no exception!  Volunteers of all ages came together for one Saturday in May to deliver some much needed home improvements to an elderly man living locally. 

His home was repainted and bathroom replaced.  In his words, "I could never have gotten any of these things taken care of."  His quality of life has been improved.  And the lives of the volunteers were impacted as they chose to give of their time and energy to help another in need.

The church of Oklahoma City joins together once a year to serve our community with the love of Jesus.  This year we again served our neighborhood with the

2nd Annual Western Village Block Party

It was a fun filled afternoon with plenty of opportunities to love the families in our community!   Games organised and run by our own church youth.  Door prizes won by both kids and adults.  Fabulous bbcue provided by our local Swadley's.

Juarez, Mexico 

For over 10 years now, OLCC has had the privilege of joining Randy Felton, Potter's Clay Ministries, as he leads short term mission trips into Juarez, Mexico to build a home for an at risk family.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the practical needs of people and share the love of Jesus.

Randy joins with Gateway Mission Training Center out of El Paso, Texas; an organization well equipped to support the needs of mission teams.  The completion of the home build helps to enhance the ministry of existing missionaries.
